Mulch Leaves Before Shot
During Fall
During Fall leaves come down in droves covering everything in its path. Our team at Urban Landscapers Ltd. can gently remove the leaves from your shrubs and perennials and either mulch them back into your garden bed or remove them for offsite composting. Early fall is also a great time for one last organic fertilizer so your lawn is ready for winter. If you have any roses or cedar hedges that have not been pruned, now is also the time to cut them back before the winter snow damages them.
DuringSpring
During spring left over leaves can be mulched up and returned to the soil or composted and many perennials can be cleaned up so new growth will be seen more easily. Any damaged or dead branches should be removed to prevent the spread of disease and over wintering weeds should be removed so desirable plants don't have to compete for nutrients. Finally, a late spring organic fertilizer is the best time to feed the beneficial microbes that aid in the well being of your lawn and shrubs too.
